Do I need a FOID to take the class?

A FOID card is not needed to take the class.

What do I need for class?

Please be sure to bring your ID (state issued) the day of class.

How long is the class?

The Illinois Concealed Carry class is 16hr which is a requirement by the Illinois State Police. This is broken into 2 days. (Saturday & Sunday) (Thursday & Friday).

Where are the classes located?

We are located on the west side of Chicago.

Parking Availability?

There is a parking lot attached to the building and it is available for use.

Do I need to do fingerprints?

Fingerprints are not mandatory but if completed your application will be expedited.

After class do I have to do anything else?

After successfully completing the class, you will receive a certificate that will be used when you apply for the Concealed Carry License. You will apply at https://www.ispfsb.com/Public/Login.aspx

Do I need to bring a firearm?

No, the class includes range equipment.

What happens if I can’t attend class?

Unfortunately you will have to pay for another date available through the website. If you cannot make it you can transfer your seat to someone you may know.

How will I get to the range? Can I go to the range on my own time?

You will need to provide your own transportation for range. Range can only be completed during class to be considered completed.
